Terms & Conditions

1. General

By purchasing or registering for a ticket to Performance MCR, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms represent the full understanding between Performance MCR Ltd (‘the Organiser’) and attendees, and override any prior agreements or communications.

2. Ticketing & Payment

  • A ticket is only guaranteed once full payment has been received and confirmation issued via our booking system (currently Eventbrite).
  • Tickets are electronic only – you’ll receive an email confirmation and will need to show proof of purchase (digital or printed) at check-in.
  • All payments are final. Refunds are not available except in the limited cases outlined below.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of booking (outside of 14 days before the event) are eligible for a full refund.
  • No refunds will be issued if:
    – The cancellation is requested more than 7 days after booking.
    – The booking was made within 14 days of the event.
    – You attend on the wrong day.
  • If the event itself is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

4. Transfer of Tickets

  • Tickets may be transferred to another attendee at no cost, provided full details (name, job title, company, email) are given no later than 14 days before the event.
  • Tickets cannot be resold for a higher price than originally purchased.

5. Speakers & Agenda

  • All advertised speakers are confirmed in good faith, but the organiser reserves the right to amend the agenda or lineup without notice.
  • Access to sessions is first come, first served – room capacities are limited.

6. Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the ticket fee paid.
  • We are not responsible for:
    – Loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
    – Any injury not caused by negligence of Performance MCR Ltd staff.
    – Travel or accommodation costs incurred if the event is cancelled or changed.

7. Code of Conduct & Admissions

  • All attendees, speakers, and sponsors must adhere to our Code of Conduct.
  • The organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove participants engaging in inappropriate behaviour, without refund.

8. Copyright & Recordings

  • Presentations remain the property of the speakers.
  • By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. These may be used in Performance MCR’s marketing materials.

9. Data Sharing, Marketing & Communications

By purchasing a ticket, you agree that your registration details will be collected and processed by Performance MCR Ltd for:

  • Running and administering the event you are attending
  • Contacting you with event updates and logistics
  • Contacting you about future Performance MCR events

As part of our event sponsorship model, attendee registration details – including your name, job title, company name, and email address – may be shared with confirmed Performance MCR 2026 event sponsors. A current list of sponsors is available at performancemcr.com/sponsors. Sponsors are independent data controllers and are responsible for handling your data in accordance with UK GDPR and their own privacy policies. They are contractually required not to pass your data to third parties. You may opt out of future marketing communications from Performance MCR at any time by emailing hello@performancemcr.com or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. To opt out of communications from individual sponsors, please contact them directly.
