As part of our event sponsorship model, we share attendee registration data — including name, job title, company name, and email address — with confirmed Performance MCR event sponsors. A current list of sponsors is available on our website at performancemcr.com/sponsors. Sponsors receive this data for the purpose of post-event outreach only and are required to handle it in compliance with relevant UK privacy regulations and applicable law.
Sponsors must not pass your data to third parties or retain it beyond 12 months following the event.
We also work with the following categories of third party for operational purposes: ticketing platforms, email marketing platforms, and website analytics providers. These parties act as data processors and only handle your data as instructed by us.
We require such third party’s to use the personal information we transfer to them only for the purpose for which it was transferred and not to retain it for longer than is required for fulfilling the said purpose.
We may also disclose your personal information for the following: (1) to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order or other legal process; (2) to enforce your agreements with us, including this Privacy Policy; or (3) to respond to claims that your use of the Service violates any third-party rights. Data shared with sponsors will be subject to their own retention policies; sponsors are contractually required to delete attendee data within 12 months of the event.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access and rectify or erase your personal data or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to the active processing of your data, ask us to share (port) your personal information to another entity, withdraw any consent you provided to us to process your data, a right to lodge a complaint with a statutory authority and such other rights as may be relevant under applicable laws. Where we have shared your data with sponsors on the basis of legitimate interest or consent, you have the right to object to or withdraw consent for that sharing by contacting us at hello@performancemcr.com. Please note that we are unable to retrieve data already shared with sponsors prior to your request, but we can notify the relevant sponsor of your withdrawal.
